CIMC SOE delivers third dual-fuel LEG carrier to Hartmann

Chinese shipbuilder Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE) has held a delivery and naming ceremony for the third dual-fuel liquefied ethylene gas (LEG) carrier built for German shipping company Hartmann Group.

Chinese shipbuilder Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE) has held a delivery and naming ceremony for the third dual-fuel liquefied ethylene gas (LEG) carrier built for German shipping company Hartmann Group.

As informed, the ceremony for the 7,200 cbm vessel took place on September 20, 2024, coinciding with the 42nd anniversary of CIMC SOE’s production commencement.

The ship, which is the third and last LEG carrier in this series, was named GasChem Phoenix.

The first vessel, Gaschem Fuji, was launched in October last year, while the second ship, Gaschem Alster, was delivered to the company this July.
