DONG Energy is recruiting offshore wind workers for various working positions related to its Westermost Rough offshore wind project.
The company is looking for people qualified to fill the following positions: Assistant Operations Manager, High Voltage Engineer, HSE Manager, Offshore Coordinator, Site Assistant, Warehouse Coordinator, and Wind Turbine technicians. Westermost Rough offshore wind project will spur the employment in Grimsby, where DONG is soon going to build an operations and maintenance base.
Offshore construction of Westermost Rough is scheduled to begin in February 2014. The offshore wind farm’s site is situated 8km off the Yorkshire Coast, north of Hull and will contain 35 turbines of 6MW capacity, covering a total area of 35km2 and providing enough electricity to power around 200,000 homes.
