Trinidad LNG Heads for Chile

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a cargo of  liquefied natural gas yesterday, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the Methane Princess, a 138,000 cubic-meter tanker, and it is due to arrive at the Quintero terminal in Chile on April 3.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin terminal is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
