Spotted: Navigator Jorf Joins Its Owner

In today’s spotted, we bring you an image of Navigator Jorf, an LPG carrier which was recently delivered to Navigator Gas by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) in South Korea.

With a carrying capacity of 38,000 cbm, the vessel is intended to carry ammonia and trade in North West Europe and between the Mediterranean and Morocco.

The newest addition to Navigator Gas’ expanding fleet will be managed by Navigator Gas Shipmanagement and chartered to OCP.

The refrigerated LPG carrier features a length of 180 meters and a width of 28.4 meters.

Classed by ABS, the newbuilding has a market value of USD 35.6 million, VesselsValue’s data shows.

In 2016, Navigator Gas moved into the mid-sized market, commissioning newbuild ships. The company’s fleet is set to increase from 30 Handysize vessels at the start of 2016 to 38 vessels by 2017, including five mid-size carriers.
