Senvion Remains In Charge Of Nordsee Ost Wind Turbines

Innogy has awarded Senvion a four-year service agreement for the Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm in Germany that consists of 48 Senvion 6.2M126 turbines.

The turbine supplier, which has been servicing the offshore wind farm’s wind turbines since 2014, has won the new contract following a competitive tendering process.

The new agreement replaces the existing contract ahead of schedule and includes implementation of new service concepts such as joint service teams and sea-based services.

We are very proud that innogy continues their trust in our service maintenance team and has awarded us a follow-up contract ahead of time.”

Karina Würtz, General Manager at innogy SE for the Offshore Wind farm Nordsee Ost, said: “The new service contract gives both parties planning security for the upcoming years. The implementation of new service concepts and encouraging the exchange between our technicians and the Senvion experts will ensure in the upcoming years a high level of operational reliability and availability of the turbines.”

The substructures operations & maintenance (O&M) is the responsibility of C-Ventus, which was awarded a four-year contract for subsea O&M works at the 295MW offshore wind farm in May 2018.
