Pemex at this year’s event

Vanessa Aguirre of PEMEX Procurement International Inc. has confirmed her participation as a speaker in the conference on Mexican petroleum industry reforms at Amsterdam RAI on 28 October 2014. The conference is part of the annual Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference.

Aguirre will present her outlook on future procurement practices of PEMEX, the Mexican national oil company. In particular, she will talk about the Central Procurement Organization (CPO).

Aguirre: “The creation of the CPO is one of the first steps in the transformation of PEMEX under the energy reform. I think that it will be worthwhile for European supply chain companies to learn about the new rules and I look forward to answering any questions that may arise.”

The newly established CPO will report directly to the CEO of PEMEX.
