Norway: BP Given Consent for Use of Valhall PH as a Living Quarters Facility

Business & Finance

BP Norge AS (BP) has been granted consent to use Valhall PH as a living quarters facility.

Valhall PH is an integrated process and living quarters facility which will replace the living quarters facility QP and the production and compression facility PCP.

The consent regards use of Valhall PH as a living quarters facility.

BP will use the living quarters module on Valhall PH until the entire facility is ready for start-up/use. This will provide greater bed capacity and flexibility during the preparations for start-up.

The living quarters module contains e.g.:

Control room, technical rooms, workshops, store rooms, 180 cabins, canteen, dayroom and a room for various activities.

According to schedule, Valhall PH will start operation in 2011. The use of PH is part of BP’s Valhall Redevelopment project.
