Icon Offshore Inks Several Charter Contracts with Petronas Carigali (Malaysia)

Icon Offshore Berhad, a Malaysia-based owner of offshore support vessels, has secured several contracts with Petronas Carigali, worth approximately USD 164.4 million, Malaysian media have reported.

Under the agreement, Petronas Carigali will hire eight offshore support vessels on 5+1 year contracts. The contracts involve five offshore supply vessels and three anchor handling tugs. The contracts are expected to start this month.

Icon Offshore did not immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.
