Imtech Marine Group at Marintec: Partners in technology

At the upcoming Marintec exhibition from 1 to 4 December, Imtech Marine Group companies Imtech Marine Shanghai, Radio Holland China, Imtech Marine & Offshore and Imtech Marine Germany will present themselves under the Imtech Marine Group brand. The Imtech Marine Group stand is situated in hall 1, stand no. 1G63 where innovative eye catchers will be shown, one major eye catcher being the brand new Innovative Bridge System, Seaguide. Next to that IMG will show its expertise in Energy & Drive technology, Navigation & Communication equipment, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Airco) and Diesel Electric Propulsion. Special attention will also be paid to the global service capabilities and connectivity solutions. Imtech Marine Group foresees and targets for further growth for the coming years in the Chinese market, taking into account that the Chinese Shipbuilding market has targeted 2015 to become the world’s biggest shipbuilding market. Imtech Marine Shanghai
Imtech Marine Shanghai is located on the South Side of Shanghai (Nanhui Industrial Zone) and produces LV switchboards and bridge consoles in its’ almost 5.000 square meter factory. Combined with state of the art services, such as commissioning and after sales services in navigation, communication and electrical power, Imtech Marine Shanghai is a key player on the Chinese Marine Market. Already 25 years ago Imtech Marine Germany (previously known as HDW-Hagenuk Schiffstechnik, a member of the Imtech Marine Group – started its’ operations in China. Since then over 800 shipsets (cargo-vessels) have been sold to Chinese shipyards, mainly for German shipowners. The core business in to combine European quality and design with local Chinese production and assembly and furthermore quick response times and good services to multiple Chinese clients and Shipyards.

Radio Holland China: new technology and service capabilities on show
Set in the heart of the Pudong district Shanghai and working in combination with the Imtech Marine Group, Radio Holland China / Hong Kong offer New Build Console, Retrofit and World Wide service solutions to meet the current and future customer demands. By providing top quality navigation and communication products from Asia (Hong Kong’s Furuno exclusive agent) and Europe combined with its unique World Wide service and Global Service System, Radio Holland pride themselves on being a solution partner to international shipowners and local shipyards. Each piece of New Build equipment will be entered into Radio Holland’s Global Service Database, with a result that the client can relax at the thought that their repair service will be handled with optimum efficiency. Imtech Marine Germany: launch of Imtech Seaguide
Part of the competence of Imtech Marine Germany is the integration of navigation and communication equipment into bridge systems. It has been realized that most of the existing systems are not meeting the requirements of the clients in the merchant market for integrated navigation systems, which should be highly reliable, cost efficient, easy to operate and maintain in order to reduce the life cycle costs. As a result Imtech Marine Germany has utilized their experience, competence and know- how in the field of navigation systems to design the Imtech Seaguide together with partners in order to be able to meet these demands. The Imtech Seaguide is being officially launched at the Marinetec as part of the Deep-sea Bridge console, which will also incorporates systems from other partners in the field of navigation and communication. With the Imtech Seaguide it can be assured that crews of vessels will understand intuitive how to operate the systems.
