The shipyard is building the LNGC for an undisclosed Asian shipowner.

GTT will design the tanks of this new vessel with a total LNG tank capacity of 174,000 cbm. The LNGC will feature the membrane containment system Mark III Flex developed by GTT.

Hyundai Samho will deliver the vessels in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Recently, Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) revealed it won a $224.5 million LNG carrier order. The vessel will be built by KSOE’s unit HSHI which will deliver the vessel by December 2025.

This LNGC also has a capacity of 174,000 cbm. However, this order comes from an unnamed European shipping company.
