Business & Finance

Danish clean energy developer Floating Power Plant has made several changes to the company’s Board of Directors.

David Nickols has been appointed a new Chairman of Floating Power Plant A/S, replacing the earlier Chairman Christian Mellentin, the company informed on social media.

Nickols will maintain his position as Chairman of the company’s UK subsidiary, Floating Power Plant Ltd., which will also be welcoming Christian Mellenti as a member of the board.

Furthermore, Søren F. Knudsen has been appointed Vice-Chairman of Floating Power Plant A/S.

To remind, Floating Power Plant teamed up with DP Energy in 2016 to develop sites in Scotland and Wales that would harness the energy from both winds and waves, using the hybrid wind and wave technology.

More recently, Floating Power Plant hired Marine Space, and Aquatera to conduct environmental impact assessment for Welsh and Scottish projects.
