Belgium scheduled for Qatari LNG delivery

Fluxys’ Zeebrugge LNG terminal in Belgium is expected to receive a cargo of the chilled gas on April 21.

The 155,000 cubic meter GasLog Saratoga is carrying the cargo from Qatar’s Ras Laffan, port data reveals.

GasLog Saratoga joined GasLog’s fleet in December of 2014. The company’s fully owned LNG carrier was built by Samsung Heavy Industries.

The tri-fuel Diesel Electric (TFDE) LNG carrier is equipped with a new type of cargo compressor that reduces the release of greenhouse gasses.
