China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for Lot 2 of wind turbine installation and foundation construction of Guishan offshore wind farm demonstration project in Zhuhai, with a contract value of some 220 million yuan (35,696,980.00 US dollars).
Located in the waters of the Lingding Sea at Pearl River Estuary, the project involves production and construction of the steel pipe pile foundation for 17 wind turbines of 3MW capacity. The contract also includes the construction of foundation jackets and installation of wind turbines.
As Guangdong’s first offshore wind farm demonstration project, the project will effectively resolve the problem of power supply to Guishan, Dongao and Dawanshan islands, and boost the marine economic development of Wanshan District, Zhuhai City.
