Point Fortin LNG Ships Another Cargo (Trinidad and Tobago)

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped another liquefied natural gas cargo yesterday, according to shipping data. Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped another liquefied natural gas cargo yesterday, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the Hispania Spirit, a 137,814 cubic-meter tanker.

The destination of the cargo is unknown at this moment.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal produced 14,664,884 mt of LNG in 2011.

It is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
