Belgium’s Fluxys on Wednesday said that its liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in the port of Zeebrugge has unloaded and reloaded fewer cargoes of the chilled fuel in the last year when compared to the year before.

The Zeebrugge terminal received in total 17 cargoes of LNG in 2017. Unloads almost halved as compared to 30 cargoes in 2016, according to an infographic released by Fluxys.

Zeebrugge shipped 20 cargoes of previously imported LNG last year as compared to 35 in 2016.

Truck loading business also recorded a drop with 1454 truck loadings handled at the Zeebrugge terminal in 2017. This compares to 1480 truck loadings in 2016.
