Wintershall Hires ‘Energy Swan’ PSV

Golden Energy Offshore has entered into a long term charter agreement with Wintershall Norge AS for one of its PSV vessels.

The oil company will hire the Energy Swan platform supply vessel on a 4 year firm contract. Upon expiration of the firm part of the contract Wintershall will have four one-year options to extend the deal.

The Energy Swan is the 2005 built large size PSV of ST 216 L design. The contract began at the end of September 2013, but as Energy Swan is working on a short term contract with ConocoPhillips Norge by the end of this year, the Energy Insula of VS 485 MKIII design will be used as a “frontrunner”.

Financial details were not disclosed.
