WES hunts for Project Engineer

Wave Energy Scotland (WES) is recruiting for a Project Engineer who would join its research and innovation team.

The main responsibilities of a Project Engineer include implementing and managing WES innovation calls, as well as assessing and analyzing the applications to such calls.

Working alongside an Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) Marine Energy Research and Business Development Manager, the post will report to the Senior Research Engineer and help implement project activities including technology development, knowledge capture and research activities.

WES noted that the dissemination of lessons learnt from previous wave energy research and development will also be a key part of this role.

The closing date for applications has been set for January 25, 2017.

WES was established in 2014 as a subsidiary of Highlands and Islands Enterprise to support to the development of wave energy technologies in Scotland.
