Equinor’s refurbished Njord Bravo storage vessel is now back on its field located offshore Norway following years of upgrades, joining the upgraded Njord A platform, which arrived offshore earlier this year. Both facilities are now ready for 20 more years of production.

As reported by Offshore Energy last week, the Njord Bravo vessel sailed away from Kristiansund on 15 July, heading to its final offshore location in the Norwegian Sea, after six years of extensive upgrades on the shore. Following its arrival, operations to hook up the vessel at the field started.

Equinor has now launched a video of the vessel sailaway, confirming that the oil production from the Njord field will resume towards the end of the year.
