Video: China Splashes TI Europe with New Paint

The crude oil tanker TI Europe, owned by Antwerp-based tanker owner and operator Euronav NV, recently underwent drydocking works in Shenzhen, China.

In September, the France-flagged ultra large crude carrier sailed to the Yiu Lian Dock Yards for the upgrades.

The 2002-built TI Europe is one of the only two unconverted V-plus vessels worldwide, according to Euronav.

Featuring 441,561 dwt, the ship left Shenzhen on September 20 and sailed to an anchorage in Malacca, where it arrive less than a week later, AIS data provided by Marine Traffic shows.
