VBMS Engages Stril Server for North Sea Ops

Norwegian offshore support vessels provider Simon Møkster Shipping has signed a new contract for Stril Server with VBMS, subsidiary of Royal Boskalis Westminster NV.

According to the company, the contract will start in April 2017 and is for 5 months plus options.

The vessel should assist VBMS in its operations in the North Sea area.

It is Møkster’s first contract with VBMS giving the company another foothold in the offshore contractor market, the company noted.

The Stril Server is a subsea/windmill support vessel delivered in 2014. It’s equipped with a 70 tons AHC crane, ROV hangars and accommodation for 90 persons according to SPS guidelines.
