USA: Offshore Tech Academy to Build Major O&G Training Facility in Texas

Planned Investment Expects to Provide Severely Needed Offshore Oil and Gas Training and Create New Jobs in the Houston, Texas Area.

The principle partners at Offshore Tech Academy LLC, (“OTA”) announced their intended designs to build a sizeable training campus which will encompass a multi-discipline training facility, student living quarters, and dining facilities along with other planned amenities.

OTA is acutely aware that within the United States, the Oil and Gas Industry lacks affordable national training facilities that could provide the in-depth, hands-on training desperately needed throughout the world. In the last 20 years, the oil and gas industry has acknowledged that accidents are preventable, and that safety is a VALUE as well as a competitive edge. Oil and gas companies are engaged in exploration projects in some of the most inhospitable regions of the world, most notably on remote off shore rigs, requiring the highest standards of safety and technical skills. OTA wants to address these areas of safety and skills enhancement to provide world-class training, in a world-class facility.

OTA’s projected mission will be to ensure it adds reliable, measurable, and affordable results to the oil and gas industry by providing up-to-date, quality training courses and publications to meet their client’s needs. OTA plans to offer best-of-class materials and seasoned instructors that have field experience. OTA anticipates that by providing a training facility that offers housing accommodations similar to that found on the offshore installations-students will respond to this focused training better than in a typical classroom facility or on-line training.

About Offshore Tech Academy:

OTA intends to design, implement, and manage training solutions enabling companies and independent contractors to meet their technical competency goals through a well rounded curricula. OTA will apply the best commercial solutions, processes, tools, and experts to make its programs available in the most unique Offshore Oil & Gas training environment in the USA.
