U.S. weekly offshore rig count down two weeks in a row

The number of offshore rigs in the U.S. has dropped for the second week in a row and now stands at 13 units, according to a weekly rig count report by Baker Hughes.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. -1 to 402 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 1 from last week at 402 with oil rigs down 1 to 309, gas rigs unchanged at 92, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

U.S. Rig Count is down 390 rigs from last year’s count of 792, with oil rigs down 374, gas rigs down 15 and miscellaneous rigs down 1.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 to 13, down 6 year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada -25 rigs to 116 rigs.

Canada Rig Count is down 25 from last week to 116, with oil rigs down 22 to 58, gas rigs down 3 to 58.

Canada Rig Count is down 59 rigs from last year’s count of 175, with oil rigs down 57, gas rigs down 2.
