The number of offshore rigs in the U.S. decreased by one unit last week, according to weekly rig count reports by Baker Hughes.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. +2 to 455 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is up 2 from last week to 455 with oil rigs up 4 to 356, gas rigs down 1 to 99, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 0.

U.S. Rig Count is up 137 rigs from last year’s count of 318, with oil rigs up 119 gas rigs up 20 and miscellaneous rigs down 2.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 to 14, up 2 year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada -1 rig to 58 rigs.

Canada Rig Count is down 1 from last week to 58, with oil rigs unchanged at 25, gas rigs down 1 to 33.

Canada Rig Count is up 37 rigs from last year’s count of 21, with oil rigs up 17, gas rigs up 20.
