Two Tankers Arrested in Singapore

Two chemical/product tankers have been detained in Singapore waters, Supreme Court of Singapore’s data shows.

The ships in question are the 14,500 dwt Bravely Sincerity and the 9,200 dwt Captain Silver and they were arrested on August 1 and 3, respectively.

Bravely Sincerity, previously known as Golden Dynasty, was put under detention at DDW Pax Ocean Shipyard over unpaid crew wages, VesselsValue’s data shows. This is the second detention of Bravely Sincerity in Singapore this year, following the one in April.

The reason for Captain Silver’s detention was not disclosed.

Focal Investigation & Security Agency has been appointed for security and investigation purposes related to the arrest of the two tankers.

The 2010-built Bravely Sincerity is operated by Singapore’s Golden Pacific International & Holdings and the 2008-built Captain Silver by Norway’s Bergsgav AS.
