Following a contract award in early 3Q 2018, the equipment will be delivered in 1Q 2019 from Trendsetter’s Houston facility.

By utilizing the TSA, the operator will be able to reconfigure the template and associated manifold slots to allow for the tie-in of satellite trees without removing the existing wellhead systems or production guide bases. This technology provides flexibility to add new wells, ultimately eliminating the need for specialized tooling and significantly reducing the vessel time necessary to complete the tie-ins that are traditionally required to connect the template to a satellite well, Trendsetter explains.

The Template Slot Adapter is yet another example of Trendsetter’s ability to develop novel solutions that maximize our client’s ability to revitalize an existing subsea field. We look forward to delivering a high-quality product that is both innovative and cost-effective to the customer,” said Antony Matson, vice resident of Projects.

Trendsetter’s scope of work includes the design and manufacture of the Template Slot Adapters, Trendsetter’s TC7 Clamp Connection Systems, and TC2 Collet Connection Systems.
