Specifically, Titan performed gas-up and cool-down of one of the tanks on NYK’s LNG carrier Grace Emilia. The vessel was built in 2021 by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co. and it has a total capacity of 174,000 cubic metres.

The operation was carried out from 25 to 29 March in the port of Algeciras located in Andalusia, Spain, according to Titan’s social media update.

The fuel supplier used Kairos, the 7,500 cubic metre LNG bunker vessel from its chartered fleet, for this operation.

In other company-related news, it is worth mentioning that Titan recently took delivery of the first of two LNG carriers it acquired from Canadian gas transportation company Seapeak for bunkering retrofit.

The vessel named Titan Unikum was delivered on 24 March in Gibraltar and then sailed to Vigo, Spain, to start the conversion into an LNG bunker vessel at Metalships & Docks S.A.U. shipyard in Spain.

Titan Unikum’s sister carrier, Titan Vision, is expected to join Titan’s fleet later this month.
