UK-based engineering consultancy Ryder, part of Tekmar Group, has secured a three-year framework agreement with France’s cable systems designer and manufacturer Nexans to provide subsea engineering support for the company’s cable projects worldwide.

According to Ryder, the company will deliver cable burial risk assessments, installation analyses, and specialist subsea engineering consultancy under the agreement. 

The company is expected to support Nexans in ensuring smooth project execution across its operations.

In August 2024, Ryder completed a geotechnical site investigation for an offshore floating tidal turbine project located at the Fall of Warness European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) test site in Orkney.
