Tecnalia recruits for offshore renewables researcher

Tecnalia is looking to strengthen its offshore renewable energy team by adding a researcher capable of carrying out technology development tasks for wave and wind projects.

The scope of work for the position includes developing tasks such as basic design and analysis of offshore structures, dynamic studies of offshore structures including foundation or mooring systems, and development of coupled numerical models together with its experimental validation, among others.

The successful candidate will work on R&D projects mainly focused on fixed and floating offshore wind and wave energy.

Tecanalia noted the candidate should have a masters degree in offshore/naval engineering, with at least 2 years of work experience in marine engineering and offshore renewable energies.
