As of 7 March, Laure Mandrou took over as SVP of the unit. In this role, she will sit on the group’s extended executive committee. She reports to Marco Villa, chief operating officer.

Mandrou has been working in the energy sector for over 20 years. After starting as a product development engineer at Schlumberger, she held various management positions in technology, marketing, strategy, and operations.

Prior to joining Technip Energies, Laure was head of New Ventures and Technology in the Middle East and North Africa region. There, she was also tending after energy transition initiatives.

Technip Energies deals with the energy transition with its market positions in LNG, hydrogen, and ethylene as well as growing market positions in blue and green hydrogen, and CO2 management.

This appointment is specifically linked to the creation of four business lines structured around the company’s markets. This is to align its operating model with the fastly changing energy transition market.

The four Technip Energies business lines include:

  • Gas & Low-Carbon Energies – led by Loïc Chapuis;
  • Sustainable Fuels, Chemicals & Circularity – led by Bhaskar Patel;
  • Carbon-Free Solutions – led by Laure Mandrou;
  • T.EN X – Consulting & Products – led by Charles Cessot.

These four business lines will rely on One T.EN Delivery, a global structure dedicated to delivering projects and solutions.
