According to Transmark Subsea, this move enhances the company’s ability to deliver subsea solutions while leveraging Malux’s expertise and commitment to customer-centric services.

Headquartered in Bergen, Transmark Subsea specializes in providing subsea products, including monitoring systems and connection solutions, to a broad range of end-users. The acquisition is expected to bolster the company’s capabilities through access to Malux’s resources and market experience, the company noted.

“Malux shares our vision of delivering exceptional quality and customized solutions. Their dedication to meeting customer needs and maintaining the highest standards aligns perfectly with our core values. Together, we are excited to enhance our offerings and create greater value for our clients,” said Leif Hugo Arntsen, Managing Director of Transmark Subsea.

The deal includes only Transmark Subsea’s Bergen operations, ensuring continuity in the team’s agility and focus. The Aberdeen unit, meanwhile, is set to remain under its current ownership and undergo rebranding.

“Transmark Subsea is a perfect addition to the Malux family. Their expertise, coupled with our shared values, creates an exciting opportunity to expand our presence in strategic markets while continuing to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions to our customers,” added Anders Nygren, CEO of Malux.

In March 2023, Transmark Subsea contributed a resident underwater autonomous vehicle (AUV) to the €2.3 million Renewables for Subsea Power (RSP) project, enabling advanced subsea operations and infrastructure monitoring.
