Samsung said in a filing to the stock exchange that the deal for the LNG quartet is worth 870 billion won ($773.2m).

The shipbuilder did not reveal the name of the company behind the order saying only it is a US owner.

The LNG carriers are scheduled to be delivered by September 2022.
