South Korea awaiting Qatari LNG

South Korea, the world’s second biggest buyer of LNG, is due to get a liquefied natural gas cargo from Qatar on September 5, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being carried by the 138,000 cbm SK Summit, and it is sailing to the Pyeongtaek LNG terminal.

South Korea’s Pyeongtaek LNG terminal is the country’s first LNG import terminal and it is operated by KOGAS.
