The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal is scheduled to receive another cargo of LNG from Qatar at the end of the week. 

According to the shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 266,000-cbm Q-Max LNG carrier, Umm Slal is due to dock at the South Hook LNG terminal’s jetty on November 5.

Natural gas flows from the South Hook LNG terminal to the UK’s national grid on Monday morning was at 19.77 mcm per day, according to the data from the National Grid.

The South Hook terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total.

The terminal can process 15.6 million tons of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic meters of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
