First, Golden Energy said Wintershall Norge has extended the contract for the Energy Swan platform supply vessel.

The large platform supply vessel has been on a contract with Wintershall (now Wintershall DEA) in Norway since 2013. The vessels current contract expires on August 31, 2019, and the oil company and the shipowner have agreed the Energy Swan will remain on with WIntershall till November 30, 2019. Wintershall will have options to further extend the charter until November 30, 2021.

Furthermore, Golden Energy has said that Shell has agreed to extend the charter for the Energy Scout platform supplier in Nigeria for another six months.

Namely, Energy Scout had entered into a short-term contract with Shell’s SNEPCO, after which it in April entered into another charter with Shell’s SPDC subsidiary. This contract was to expire on July 15.

Golden Energy, which operates a fleet of eight offshore vessels, on Monday said that the contract with Shell would keep the Energy Scout platform supply vessel busy till January 20, 2020.
