SgurrEnergy selected as finalist at Scottish Business Awards

SgurrEnergy, a UK-based renewable energy consultancy, has been shortlisted as finalist in the Green Business of the Year category at 2015 Scottish Business Awards.

The awards, due to take place on November 12 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, recognises excellence in Scottish business and celebrates companies who are building successful, growing and dynamic businesses in Scotland.

The Green Business of the Year category acknowledges businesses which have demonstrated outstanding leadership, achieving environmental goals alongside identified business objectives.

The winner will have successfully combined business and environmental aims of their company, SgurrEnergy’s press release reads.

Ian Irvine, SgurrEnergy’s Technical Director, said: “It’s a huge honour to be a finalist at the Scottish Business Awards. To be named among such high profile and extremely successful Scottish companies, in such a competitive category, shows the outstanding progress we have made in such a short space of time.”

SgurrEnergy is a renewable energy consultancy, providing engineering and technical advisory services in onshore and offshore wind, solar, wave and tidal, and hydro projects. It is part of the Wood Group, an international energy services company.
