Scottish Green Energy Awards 2015 lists finalists

The Scottish Green Energy Awards, a renewable energy competition, has announced the finalists in 13 categories designed to recognise the people and organisations contributing to the renewables sector in Scotland.

This year’s finalists include the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC), competing with consultancies Aquatera, and SgurrEnergy, in the Export Award category.

Two other local renewables companies, Green Marine, and Leask Marine are in the running for the Best Supplier Award.

Wave Energy Scotland is receiving recognition for its work in encouraging innovation within wave energy industry by being shortlisted in the Best Innovation Award category.

The finalists will be announced the Awards Dinner on December 3, 2015, at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The competition is organized by Scottish Renewables.
