Reservoir Link wins Petronas prize

Reservoir Link, a well intervention and perforating solutions provider, has received a conditional letter of award (LOA) from Petronas Carigali for the provision of annulus wash and cementing assurance (AWCA) services.

The scope of work includes circulation tunnel creation, wash technology and multi-annulus cement placement for approximately 74 wells offshore Malaysia. With operations due to start in H1 2018, the LOA covers a three-year period with a one-year extension option, Reservoir Link said on Tuesday.

Reservoir Link will partner with Archer, the global oilfield services company, who will provide the annulus wash and cement placement as a part of the application.

According to Reservoir Link, Archer’s one-trip Stronghold Barricade system can deliver plugging and abandonment operations in less than half the time of traditional solutions, making them a safer and more economic choice for operators. At the same time, Reservoir Link’s tailor-made perforating systems offer a high performance solution that is both reliable and efficient”, Dato’ Wan Hassan added.
