The contract covers engineering tasks and inspections at Repsol Norge’s topside facilities and subsea installations/pipelines in the Yme, Rev, and Blane fields offshore Norway.

Contract duration is set for five years, and includes extension options.

“IKM thanks Repsol Norge AS for their trust. This is a contract where we combine the delivery from several IKM specialist companies, including the subsea engineering company IKM Ocean Design and the NDT/Inspection company IKM Inspection,” said EVP, Arne Vervik.

“Advanced drone technology from IKM Testing will also be utilized. Planning, engineering, and management of the contract will be carried out by IKM Operations. We truly benefit from our wide range of IKM specialist companies.”

Repsol operates the Blane, Gyda, Rev, and Yme fields in Norway. The Yme field is located in the southeastern part of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, approximately 130 kilometers northeast of the Ula field, with a water depth of 100 meters.

The Blane field is located in the southern part of the Norwegian sector in the North Sea, 35 kilometers southwest of the Ula field, with water depths of 70 meters. The Rev field is located close to the UK border, in the southern part of the Norwegian sector in the North Sea, with water depths of 90 to 110 meters.

The Gyda field is located in the southern part of the Norwegian sector in the North Sea, between the Ula and Ekofisk fields, with water depths of 65 meters.

The company holds interests in several non-operated fields with production facilities and intrafield pipelines, including Gudrun, Veslefrikk, Visund, Mikkel, Huldra, and Tambar East.

In June, Repsol Norge, a subsidiary of Repsol, awarded a frame agreement to AGR, part of the Oslo-listed ABL Group for recruiting energy professionals to manage Repsol’s onshore and offshore operations in Norway.
