Report: Shanghai North Sea Shipping Orders Tanker Trio

Shanghai North Sea Shipping has placed an order for three 69,000 dwt crude carriers with CSSC Offshore & Marine Engineering (Group) Company, according to the data from Asiasis.

Details on the delivery dates and price of the ships were not disclosed.

In 2017, the shipbuilder delivered two MR2 newbuilds to the company which were ordered back in 2015.

The two ships are 63,400 dwt Bei Hai Kai Tuo and 63,500 dwt Bei Hai Fen Jin, and were delivered in May and July 2017 respectively, VesselsValue information shows.

Financial details related to the contract from September 2015 were undisclosed as well.

The shipping company’s fleet is comprised of nine tankers, according to VesselsValue, totaling in 720,400 dwt.
