Authorities & Government

Scottish Government is committed to meet its 100% power needs from renewables by 2020.

Due to the subsidies for the renewable energy, the house owners could pay GBP 170 more a year.

Renewable Energy Foundation director, Dr John Constable said that subsidy level would be GBP 8 billion for the renewable energy by 2020, and grid management costs would be GBP 5 billion a year before VAT, Scotsman reports.
