QED Naval is looking for a Naval Architect, Electrical & Instrumentation Control Engineer, Fluid Loading CFD Engineer, and Structures Design Engineer.

These are permanent, full-time positions based in Edinburgh – however travel to primarily UK locations will be required for testing prototype structures and supporting clients around the UK and potentially global export markets.

The activities undertaken by these roles will accelerate development of the Subhub demonstration phase and strengthen the company’s general marine consultancy services, according to QED Naval.

Application deadline for all positions has been set for May 31, 2018.

To remind, QED Naval completed the final funding round for Subhub sea trials earlier in April. The testing is planned to take place in the summer of 2018 in Strangford Lough at the Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) tidal test site.
