Qatari LNG for Korea

South Korea, the world’s second biggest buyer of LNG, is due to get another liquefied natural gas cargo this week, according to shipping data.

The 135,000 cbm Hyundai Cosmopia will reach the Pyeongtaek LNG terminal on March 4.

The LNG tanker is sailing from Ras Lafan, Qatar.

South Korea’s Pyeongtaek LNG terminal is the country’s first LNG import terminal and it is operated by KOGAS.
