Qatar ships new LNG cargo to UK

The Bu Samra LNG carrier, with a capacity of 266,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive in the UK’s South Hook terminal on July 25.

According to the Milford Haven Port Authority website, this will be the second LNG shipment this week.

The South Hook LNG terminal, a part of the Qatargas 2 integrated value chain, is one of the largest LNG re-gasification terminals in Europe, providing the UK with a significant proportion of its natural gas requirements.
