On 8 and 9 June 2015, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Lundin’s management of the working environment and preparations for operation of Edvard Grieg  development located in the North Sea.

The PSA notes that Lundin is in the completion phase for the Edvard Grieg production platform and scheduled production start is November 2015.

According to the PSA, the objective of the audit was to verify that Lundin is implementing the regulatory requirements.

The audit showed non-conformities in connection with competence and working environment conditions.

In addition, the PSA identified improvement points in connection with: documentation, the working environment committee (K-AMU), work processes, non-conformity handling, the operator’s ‘principal undertaking duty’, supervisory responsibility, mapping activities, and chemical management.

The PSA gave Lundin a deadline of September 4, 2015 to report on how the non-conformities and improvement points will be dealt with.
