Last week, the company’s CEO Claus Søgaard Poulsen signed the final documents regarding ProCon Wind Energy USA Inc.

The next step includes finalizing the establishment of the first U.S. office, which will be located in the Port of New Bedford.

According to ProCon, the decision to enter the market came after completing the electrical construction of the two transition pieces for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project.

“We will activate and develop the local supply chain to ensure local and reduced carbon footprint solutions which will contribute to reducing the levelized cost of energy, creating local jobs and creating value for our customers and our own business,” said Head of Construction Thomas Dybro Larsen, who will be responsible for ProCon’s endeavors in the U.S.
