Port of Saint Petersburg to Boost Cruise Offer

Russia’s Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC and the St. Petersburg Committee on Development of Tourism have signed an agreement on developing St. Petersburg cruise and ferry tourism.

The agreement defines the primary areas of cooperation in making St. Petersburg a more attractive international cruise and ferry centre.

Among the main lines of collaboration are improved communication, joint organization of and participation in specialized MICE events, development of common marketing strategy principles and improved effectiveness of interaction with marine tourism community.

The agreement is valid until 2020 with an option of extension. As a follow-up to the agreement the parties agreed to sign a plan of activities every year setting the priorities for the following year.
