Port of Constanța Dredging Tender Online

Last week, the Port of Constanța, Romania, issued a tender estimated to be worth around $6.8 million for maintenance dredging works in and around the port area.

According to the tender, the object of the contract is for the execution of dredging operations, maintenance in the seaports and seaplanes of the seaports, but also carrying out of these works in the areas affected by unforeseen situations, occurring during the period performance of the contract.

The estimates show that during this 24- month-long program approximately 1,000,000m³ of dredged material is to be removed from the area.

The port also added that accurate volumes in dredging areas will be calculated for settlements based on hydrographic elevations made before and after dredging by the beneficiary.

The deadline for sending bids is Monday, July 2, 2018.
