Marine seismic acquisition company Polarcus has received a contract award for a broadband 3D marine seismic project in Australasia.

This latest contract award comes after the last week’s letter of award received by Polarcus for a 3D marine seismic acquisition project offshore Australia for an undisclosed client.

As with the Australian contract, Polarcus has not revealed the client or any financial terms regarding the contract.

The company did say on Thursday that the project should start in the fourth quarter of 2016 and will run for one month. Further details or information regarding the survey were also left undisclosed.
