Polarcus hired for 3D seismic project in Asia Pacific

Geophysical company Polarcus has received a letter of award for a broadband 3D marine seismic project in the Asia Pacific region from an unnamed client. 

The project is due to start in the third quarter of this year and will run for approximately one month, Polarcus said on Wednesday.

According to the company, with this award, its fleet is fully booked through to the end of the third quarter.

In the statement about the award, the company did not reveal any financial details nor the name of the vessel to be used for the project.

About a month ago, Polarcus was awarded another 3D marine seismic project, also in the Asia Pacific region. This project will start in the second quarter and last for two months.
