PJ Valves said on Wednesday that the contracts were awarded by “two major oil and gas operators” with a combined total worth of $3.5 million.

The company will manufacture and supply the valves to projects located offshore Malaysia and the UK North Sea.

According to the company, it will manufacture and deliver 2,000 ball valves, both manual and pneumatically actuated, to the project in Malaysia.

All the valves will be manufactured in accordance with the project demands, and the operator’s offshore duplex requirements. The valves will be installed on the topside modules and used in a range of process applications including gas processing and treatment.

In the UK North Sea, PJV will manufacture more than 150 forged steel gate, globe and check valves, in addition to ball valves, from its facilities in Italy.

The products include specifications of up to 1,500lb pressure-class with Grayloc hub ends and will be manufactured in duplex and super duplex materials. PJV will also manage the DNV inspection process.
